Meet Officiant Jennifer!

Welcome to my world!

I am a wife to Bruce, and a proud mother of two young adults, Andy and Elisabeth. We share our lives with three adorable dogs; Maggie, Boomer, and Finn. Born and raised in picturesque Snohomish County, I chose to raise my own children here as well, fostering a deep connection to this community.

For the past few years, I've had the privilege of working as a substitute teacher for middle and high school grades. Interacting with young people has not only been a fun and satisfying experience but has also allowed me to sharpen my speaking and presentation skills. 

My husband and I share a mutual love for travel, with a particular fondness for exploring tropical destinations on cruises. We have had the opportunity to visit many amazing places, making cherished memories along the way.

In 2023, I embarked on my first wedding season as a Professional Officiant. I had the privilege of presiding over more than 30 weddings and numerous license signings. With each new experience, I continue to learn and refine my skills and boost my confidence. I am eagerly anticipating the upcoming wedding season here in the beautiful state of Washington.

Beyond my passion for creating unforgettable wedding ceremonies, I am an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church. I am legally able to perform marriages in most of the US states. I am a staunch advocate for marriage equality and that love is love.

• I am a palm tree, sunshine and beach lover.

• Even though I grew up in WA, I don’t like coffee.

• My favorite hot beverage is Hot Chocolate.

• I don’t like vegetables. 

• My favorite flower is Gardenia followed closely by Peonies.

• I love Pachelbel’s ‘Canon in D’ for a Processional Song.

• My favorite singers are Josh Groban and Michael Buble. Taylor Swift is growing on me though.

• I enjoy watching Comedy/RomCom movies.

• I married my husband Bruce in 1996.

• Bruce proposed to me on a trip to DisneyWorld.

• I have a degree in Education and work as a Substitute Teacher during the school year.

• My husband and I have been on over 25 cruises.

• My first international flight was to Australia in 2011.

• I finally got to take my first trip to Europe in Aug. 2023

• I spent a year in Hawaii attending college.

• I was a volunteer with Silver Lake Jr Football and Cheer for 4 years

• In my youth, I owned 3 ponies and a horse and participated in 4-H
